In 1987 Andersen Easywelds were used to do wet welding in +1000 fsw on a field job offshore Brazil.
Since then Andersen Easywelds have done deeper and more substantial wet welding.

A cast steel pipeline was girth wet welded in 32° water in 10 foot of depth on an
emergency basis. There are many reports of petroleum pipeline repairs.

Under US Navy Supervision there were Butt Welds done in the vertical and overhead positions
in 21 fsw, 1.5 knot of current, 1 foot of visibility, 55°F sea water yielding a weld which
had 2T bends and exceeded a US Navy Specification for surface welding
